Therefore, the treat this weekend is Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon, 2020. Even if you cannot enjoy this wine, then find something close and settle in for an evening of delight brought by Berta Rojas.

Berta Rojas is a Paraguayan classical guitarist born on September 16, 1966, in Asunción, Paraguay. She is widely regarded as one of the most prominent and accomplished classical guitarists of her generation. Rojas began her musical journey at a young age and quickly demonstrated extraordinary skill and dedication to the guitar.

She pursued her formal musical education in various countries, including Paraguay, the United States, and Uruguay, studying under the guidance of distinguished guitarists and instructors. Rojas’ playing exhibits technical precision, emotive expression, and a deep connection to the rich musical traditions of Latin America.

Throughout her career, Berta Rojas has performed on prestigious stages worldwide, captivating audiences with her virtuosity and artistry. Her latest album, Legado, is a tribute to two of the most important figures in the history of the classical guitar: Ida Presti and María Luisa Anido.

Presti was a French guitarist who was considered one of the greatest guitarists of her generation. She died at the young age of 43. Anido was a Spanish guitarist who was a pioneer in the development of the classical guitar repertoire. She died at the age of 89.

The 2020 Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied, complex wine with a deep purple color. The palate is full of ripe fruit flavors, with a firm structure of tannins and acidity. The wine is long and lingering, with a finish that is both elegant and powerful.

This wine is made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the remaining 8% coming from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The grapes are grown in the Don Melchor Vineyard, located in the Puente Alto appellation of the Maipo Valley in Chile. The vineyard rests at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, and the soils are a mix of clay and sand.
