Thank You and Why: Wittner Metronome

As you will hear in the video, I was surprised to come home and find a package waiting for me. My three kiddos were extremely eager to find out what was inside. This was especially true because I did not order anything. Inside was a Wittner Metronome!

I immediately knew where this came from but not from whom it came. As you know, I have a Patreon page (still waiting for my first monthly patron!). And just because I don’t have a monthly patron, that doesn’t mean I don’t have any patrons. This was such a humbling gift. The giver visited my page and sought out my Wishlist on Amazon and made an order!

Encouragement To Move Forward

Too often I find myself doubting my calling in teaching and music. After many years, and other previous efforts, you sometimes feel as if it’s not worth it. You think, “I need to go into banking. At least then I will have a predictable income!” But something always pulls me back. It might be a student’s success or my own new understanding. Even though times have been, and are, hard I find myself still passionately involved in this music I love.

This gift gave me such gratitude for the person that sent it to me. I also realized that I am affecting someone out there beyond my studio. It also gave me an obligation to keep moving forward to pursuing my goal. Thank you whoever you are!

More Wishlist Videos To Come

I also know that there are other gifts on the way. I actually cannot believe it and hope I can live up to these investments. I will have other videos to post talking about why I chose certain items. Also, please forgive the auto-focus in the video. I am trying to deal with a recording issue and haven’t been able to solve it yet. I believe now the only solution is a new camera.
